Gimmel Rings

 

 

 

Gimmel rings are adapted from medieval and renaissance sources, the two interlocked hoops are inseparable and form a single band. When open the flat mating surfaces may contain a hidden engraved message and even small diamonds, sapphires, and rubies.

The bands we show are specific combinations of sterling silver, 14K and 18K golds, and 950 platinum. Each ring is made to order in your size and choice of materials. Delivery time is 30 days from our receipt of your order.

Our gimmel bands are usually made from alloys of contrasting colors to emphasize the graphic aspect of the design. We do offer an all platinum version that is one color, and by special order we can arrange with you to make other combinations, for example 14K rose and 14K white golds for a pink and white ring, or all 18K yellow for an all yellow ring.

We can also decorate the inside mating surface of your band with flush set diamonds, rubies, or sapphires, and with an inscription. Please call or email for price and delivery of special orders.
